How providers get paid
Release to your payment account and payout to your bank are two separate steps. A transfer is never a completed bank payout.

When a Protected Payment is released, your entitlement is transferred to your Stripe payment account. Money then reaches your bank through a payout under your Stripe payout settings.
The states you will see
- Released to provider account: the payment has been released to your payment account. It has not reached your bank yet.
- Payout pending: a payout to your bank is scheduled or in progress.
- Paid out: Stripe has confirmed the payout.
- Payout failed: the payout did not complete, for example because bank details need updating.
Timing
Payout timing depends on Stripe, your country, your account history and your payout schedule. We do not promise a payout date. Your statements, under Finance in your supplier workspace, show the state of every order.
Optional faster payout, where offered, is optional, has a separate fee shown before you choose it, and is never part of a mandatory fee. See the Provider Payout Terms.
