Paying in milestones

Larger projects are funded and released one milestone at a time, so you do not pay for the whole project up front.

For larger pieces of work the order is split into milestones. Each milestone is funded when it is due to start, released when it is approved, and shown separately on the order.

Only milestones that have been funded are Protected Payments. Hours or milestones that have not been funded are not protected, so fund the next milestone before the work on it starts.
