Refunds for marketplace orders
Refunds go back through Stripe to the original payment method. How platform fees are treated is shown in your order.

If an order is cancelled or the work is not delivered as agreed, a Protected Payment is refunded in full or in part as set out in your order and the Marketplace Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method. Timing depends on Stripe and your bank or card issuer. We tell you when a refund has been issued.
Fees on a refund
Your order states whether platform fees are refunded in full, partly kept (a fixed component) or reduced pro rata. We never retain fees under a policy you were not shown before you ordered.
