Portals
What are portals?
Portals give tenants, landlords, contractors and other outside parties a secure view of the property information their property team chooses to share.

A portal is a secure, focused space in Propvora for people who work with a property team but are not part of it. Tenants, landlords, owners, applicants, guarantors, contractors and leaseholders can each be given a portal so they can see the information that relates to them, without access to the rest of the team's workspace.
How portals fit into Propvora
Every organisation in Propvora works inside its own workspace. A property management team runs its portfolio from a property management workspace, and that workspace is kept separate from every other organisation. A portal is a separate, smaller space that the property team opens up for a particular person or group. It shows the portal's name and type at the top instead of the workspace switcher that team members use.
This means a tenant who signs in to their portal only sees their portal. They cannot browse the property team's other properties, tenants or records, and they cannot see other people's portals.
Who gives you a portal
Portals are invitation only. Your property team decides who gets a portal, which type of portal it is and what it contains. You cannot sign up for a portal yourself, and Propvora cannot create one for you or add you to one, because the property team controls access to its own records.
If you expected an invitation and have not received one, contact the property team, letting agent or landlord who manages your property. They can confirm which email address they used.
Signing in without a password
Portals use a secure sign-in link instead of a password. You enter the email address your property team invited, and if that address has portal access, Propvora emails you a link that signs you in on that device. Each link works once. See Sign in to your portal for the full steps.
What you can do in a portal
What a portal contains depends on its type and on what your property team has chosen to share. For example, the customer onboarding flow explains that tenants can unlock messages, maintenance requests, documents, statements and tenancy details, while landlords and owners can unlock messages, maintenance approvals, documents, statements and income.
