Propvora serves several kinds of people, and the account you need depends on how you work with property. Picking the right one first time means your workspace is set up with the right defaults. If you get it wrong, you can add another workspace later.

When you sign up

The sign-up page asks you to choose one of three roles:

  • Property manager: you manage a portfolio for yourself or for owners, often with a team. You'll name your workspace (usually your business name) and set it up for your team.
  • Landlord: you manage your own properties, tenancies and compliance. You'll get a personal workspace, which you also name when you sign up.
  • Tenant: you rent a home managed through Propvora. Most tenants don't need to sign up at all, because their property team invites them to a tenant portal.

Other ways to use Propvora

After you've signed in, the onboarding chooser offers four set-ups:

  1. Property manager: a property operations workspace for your portfolio and team.
  2. Supplier or supplier team: a workspace for running jobs, schedules and customer work, including your trades, coverage area and compliance documents.
  3. Customer: a home account that connects you to your property or tenancy so you can see messages, requests and documents.
  4. Affiliate: a partner workspace for tracking referrals, commission and payouts.

Quick guide

  • Letting agent or block manager: choose Property manager.
  • Self-managing landlord: choose Landlord.
  • Tradesperson or maintenance company: complete Supplier onboarding.
  • Renting a home: wait for your property team's invitation, or use Customer onboarding if they've asked you to.
  • Referring other businesses to Propvora: apply to the partner programme.

Changing your mind

Your sign-in account and your workspaces are separate things. One account can belong to several workspaces, so if you start as a landlord and later take on management work for others, you can add a property management workspace without creating a new account. See Add another workspace.
