Onboarding is the short setup that creates your workspace. You will usually see it straight after you create your account and confirm your email, and you can come back to it at any time to add another workspace.
Choose what to set up
Onboarding starts at What would you like to set up?. Pick the option that fits you:
- Property manager: manage portfolios, teams and operations. See Property manager onboarding.
- Supplier or supplier team: run jobs, schedules and customer work. See Supplier onboarding.
- Customer: access your home, requests and messages. See Customer onboarding.
- Affiliate: track referrals, commissions and payouts. See Affiliate onboarding.
You can add another eligible workspace later, so start with the one you need most now.
How the steps work
Each route has four or five steps, shown along the top of the form with your current step highlighted. On smaller screens you will see a progress bar showing "Step 1 of 5" and so on.
- Fill in the fields for the current step.
- Press Continue to move on. If something is missing, a short message explains what to add.
- Use Back to return to an earlier step.
- On the final step, review your answers, agree to the terms and press Create workspace (or Finish setup for customers).
Coming back later
For property manager, supplier and affiliate setup, your answers and current step are saved as a draft in your browser on that device. If you close the page or select Save & exit, you can return to the same route later and pick up where you left off.
After setup
When you create your workspace, you become its owner and are taken into it. Details you entered during onboarding can be changed later. If creating the workspace fails, you will see a message explaining why; your answers stay in the form so you can try again.
Quick answers
Can I set up more than one kind of workspace?
Yes. Choose Add workspace in the workspace switcher, or go to /onboarding, to set up another eligible workspace under the same account.
I closed the page part way through. Have I lost my answers?
Not if you return on the same device and browser. Property manager, supplier and affiliate setup save a draft as you go.
