Commission goes through a short holding period before it can be paid. This protects the programme from refunds, chargebacks and other changes that can happen soon after a customer pays. The governing detail is in the Partner Terms.
The 30-day cooling-off period
When a customer you referred makes a valid payment, the commission linked to that payment enters a 30-day cooling-off period. During this time it is monitored for refunds and chargebacks. Once the period ends and nothing has changed, the commission is cleared.
Statuses you may see
Your partner workspace shows where each referral is. The statuses are:
- Trial: the customer has signed up and is in their free trial. No commission is due yet.
- Paid: the customer has made a valid payment on an eligible plan.
- Cooling-off: the 30-day period is running.
- Cleared: the commission is eligible and moves to your payout balance.
- Reversed: the commission was cancelled, for example after a refund or chargeback.
When commission is reversed
Commission may reverse after a refund, a chargeback, a cancellation or a failed payment. A reversal is not a penalty; it simply reflects that the payment the commission was based on did not stand. Abuse of the programme is treated differently and may lead to suspension.
Payouts
Cleared commission moves into your payout balance. Payouts are made once your balance reaches the £50 minimum, in line with the Partner Terms.
You choose your payout currency (GBP, EUR or USD) and method (bank transfer) during affiliate onboarding. Secure bank verification is completed separately before your first payout.
Quick answers
Why is my commission still in cooling-off?
Commission becomes eligible 30 days after a valid payment. Until then it shows as cooling-off.
My balance is under £50. Will I lose it?
The £50 figure is the minimum for a payout to be made. Check the Partner Terms for how balances below the minimum are handled.
