Stripe Connect and Payment Services Addendum Version 0.1 How Stripe's payment services relate to Propvora's Provider Terms, and what happens when Stripe's terms change. 1. Purpose This addendum supplements the Provider Terms (/legal/provider) for Providers who are paid through a Stripe connected account. 2. Stripe's services and agreement Payment processing, the payment accounts used to receive money, transfers and payouts are provided by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. Propvora is not a bank, does not provide an account or wallet to anyone, and does not hold money as a deposit-taker. Where this document says that a payment is funded, awaiting release or released, it describes the status of a payment made through Stripe and the contractual release rules that apply to it. To receive payments you must accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, which is linked on the payment onboarding screen with the version currently in force. That agreement is between you and Stripe. Propvora does not restate, replace or re-brand it, and if the two conflict about a payment service, Stripe's agreement governs that service. 3. What Propvora does Propvora creates payment requests, applies the fee schedule and release rules, sends transfer, refund and reversal instructions to Stripe, shows you the status of payments, and records your acceptance of agreements and policy versions. 4. Verification Stripe verifies identity and business information. We do not collect your identity documents or bank details for that purpose. Stripe may share the outcome of verification with us. 5. Account status We show your payment account status: not started, onboarding, requirements due, restricted, payment ready, payout ready or disabled. You can accept paid work only when your account can take payments. If an account becomes restricted we stop new eligible paid work, show what action is needed, and keep your listings and history. 6. When Stripe's terms change If Stripe publishes a change to its terms that affects connected accounts, we identify affected Providers, send a notice, record delivery and the effective date, and keep the evidence. Your continued use after the effective date may be treated as acceptance where the law and Stripe's terms allow, and we may require you to accept again before you take new paid work. 7. Data sharing Propvora and Stripe each act as controllers of certain personal data. We share the information Stripe needs to provide services and meet its legal duties. See the Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy). 8. Ending If your Stripe account is closed, or you stop using it, you can no longer accept new paid work. Payments already released remain subject to refunds, reversals and disputes as set out in the Provider Terms.
