DRAFT — LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED This document has not been approved by legal counsel and is not yet in force. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Services (marketplace update) Version 1.0 What you may and may not list, sell, buy or do on Propvora, aligned with Stripe's restrictions. 1. General rules This policy applies to everyone who uses Propvora, in addition to the current Acceptable Use Policy (/legal/acceptable-use) in the Legal Centre. You must comply with the law, respect others, and not misuse the Service, including by attempting to bypass security, scraping, or interfering with other users. 2. Prohibited services Propvora does not permit listings, quotes, bids or payments for: - illegal goods or services, or services that require a licence you do not hold; - adult services or sexually explicit content; - weapons, explosives or regulated hazardous materials; - gambling, lotteries or prize schemes; - deceptive, fraudulent or misleading offers, including fake reviews; - unlicensed financial, investment, lending, insurance or money-transfer services; - services that are an employment relationship presented as a service; - anything that Stripe prohibits or restricts for businesses using its services. Stripe publishes its own list of prohibited and restricted businesses. The current list governs for anything paid through Stripe and we may update our categories to match. 3. Category controls Listings are placed in defined categories and free-text descriptions cannot be used to avoid category rules. We block prohibited categories at the point of listing and may remove content or accounts that attempt to avoid them. 4. Licences, insurance and accuracy If your work requires a licence, registration, qualification or insurance, you must hold it and give accurate details. You must not present information as verified unless it has been verified. 5. Fees and circumvention You must not take payment for an order found on the Marketplace outside the Marketplace for the purpose of avoiding fees or Payment Protection, and you must not ask others to do so. 6. Reviews and ratings Reviews must reflect genuine experience. You must not offer or accept payment for reviews or manipulate ratings or ranking. 7. Property-specific rules You must not use the Service to screen, select or discriminate against tenants unlawfully. Rent, deposits and holding deposits must not be requested or routed through the Marketplace. 8. Enforcement We may remove content, pause payments, restrict or end accounts, and report to authorities where the law requires or allows. Where we restrict an account we will normally tell you why and how to appeal. 9. Reporting Report a listing or user from the page or by contacting [support email not yet configured].
